How to track your workout progress

Your training log becomes more useful as you add completed workouts. Kylog brings together individual sets, exercise progress, session history and a broader overview of your training.

Record what you actually complete

During a workout, enter the weight and reps for each set, or duration for a timed movement. Mark sets complete as you go, then finish the workout when the session is over so you can revisit it in History.

Your previous performance appears beside your current sets. Use it as context for what you logged last time. Recording sets consistently makes it easier to understand differences between sessions later.

For a walkthrough of logging and the rest timer, see how to log your first workout.

Look at progress for an individual exercise

Use exercise progress to follow how your recorded performance changes across workouts. This is useful when you want to focus on one movement instead of comparing entire sessions that contain different exercises.

When reviewing your log, consider both the weight and the reps recorded. Two sets can look different even when the load is unchanged. Your history gives you the detail behind the overview.

Review completed sessions in History

Open History to revisit a completed workout. Workout details include volume, sets, training time and muscle focus. These help you understand what was part of a session and compare it with your other records.

An increase in total workout volume can reflect more sets or different exercises as well as changes in load. Check the underlying session and exercise records to understand what changed.

See your training pattern

On Home, review weekly training frequency and muscle activity, and browse past weeks. This view shows the pattern of your logged training over time.

The Progress tab brings together total volume, completed sessions, training streaks, muscle-group volume and your best lifts. Use the overview to find a detail you want to explore, then look at the relevant workouts or exercises.

Logging when you’re offline

Workout logging uses data stored on your device, so you can keep logging without a connection. Account sync catches up when a connection is available. Check the sync status on Home to see whether data is synced, pending or needs attention.
